Dear Mr. Ruprecht,
Thank you for the opportunity to participate with your update on the Toronto Italian Community. The Canadian Italian Business & Professional Association (CIBPA Toronto) have been servicing the community since 1952. Note that the CIBPA was instrumental in fundraising and the creation of Villa Charities. Many CIBPA Past Presidents went on to be Villa Charities Chair.
I have attached 2 files that you can use for your article and site references. This information can be used to supplement your 2012 Article.
Tony Cocuzzo, CIBPA Toronto President is copied on the email. Tony is there anything more you would like to add, please do.
I have attached 2 files:

Italian Canadian heritage: Valentina Sgro, a PHD student chose to write about "Italian Canadian Heritage". I was happy to provide some information that was available from the Ontario Archives. The attached is a soft copy of her book. It has a lot about the history of the CIBPA. Not very many Italo Canadian knows the history of the Italian Canadian community and how the CIBPA had an impact. It is quite impressive.

On pg. 35 there is a 1962/63 Community giving report - $50,000 with $3,615 going to bursaries and scholarships. The CIBPA Ladies Auxiliary donated $15,000. In today’s dollars it would be north of $660K.

Pg. 66 and 67 – 1985 Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
